Robot cell

Pick a part and run the cell: the robot builds its setup on a pallet from the rack, loads it into the mill, and the mill cuts it.

Batch through the cell

Run the cell above, then run a batch of its part: the robot builds each setup once (two pallets when the inventory has two of everything and it pays), swaps parts between cuts, and takes each setup apart before the next, the components going back to the inventory.

Dual-arm cell

Run the cell above, then run it with two arms: they share out the components (or build two setups side by side, the second to the buffer rack), one holds a tall blank square while the other closes the vise, and both carry a pallet too heavy for one. Every move is checked against the other arm.

Tombstone pallets

Fill every face of a tombstone on the HMC with a grid of the part picked above: each setup of its plan gets its own faces, so every pallet cycle gives finished parts. Two pallets: the spindle cuts one while the robot reloads the other.
